The objective ofthe study was to analyze the effects of hydrotherapy as na intervention in functional state elderly, a narrative review research carried out from BVS database, LILACS using descriptors hidroterapia; hydrotherapy; idoso; aged; anciano, and booleans OR; AND. search resulted 4 articles composse sample follow gall eligibility criteria. Resulting beneficial on balance main tenanceof aging elderly. Concluding that is proposal be worked elderly people who have deficit ir status healthy people.
